We re visiting Boston from the Westchester area, arriving the Saturday after Thanksgiving. We will spend about 6 nights/7 days in Boston proper, 3 days/2 nights in Salem to visit the Peabody Essex Museum and an old college friend and then spending a day or two meandering back thru Western Mass. No hotel for that leg of the trip

I have just followed a bunch of posts to read thru and have already made reservations at

-Craigie
-Menton
-Bronwyn
-Steel and Rye

We also plan to go to Peach Farm and one of the Dumpling places written about here (Palace? Cafe) too. Cuttys is on the docket for lunch one day.

Other than that we plan on doing a lot walking in Boston and hope to let our nose and bellies lead us.

North Shore seems like there is not much on this site but I know I can count on my friend to lead us to good places. She mentioned some kind of german sausage market than also has restaurant, IIRC.

Are there any other "not to miss places" in Boston or Western Mass you would recommend? We are all adventurous eaters, no price constraints, no travel constraints either but not looking to travel outside of the immediate suburbs. After Craigie and Menton we probably don't need more than one higher end/dress up kind of place. We do prefer alcohol with our meals but BYOB is ok too.

Thanks
