Boston Hound Relocates to DC: Seeking Lunch Spots!

Hello all,

I've recently relocated from Boston to DC, and I am very excited about the food prospects here. I've done some high-end dining, and have been pleased. But, now that I'm settling in to my job, I'm on the search for go-to lunch places for myself. I'm on L st. near 20th, and here are the places I've tried so far:

Breadline: Got the soft-shell crab sandwich. Was okay, little too much fry for my liking. Def. want to try the other sandwiches (Italian Sausage) that i've seen on this board.

David & Gregory: Gazpacho, Soft shell crab, turkey salad. All really good, I like this place, but it's better with a friend/coworker than solo.

Jonathan's: Little Chicken pocket- this was great, avocado, marinated, sliced chicken breast, fried onions and cheese. Touch on the greasy side, but yum.

Perfect Pita: Chicken w/ Cheese- also quite good, I really enjoy their pita's here, I haven't had them like this before- great for making sandwiches in, easy to eat, tasty chicken! Def. less greasy.

Corner Bakery: Chicken Pomodoro panini: good, but somewhat bland. The asparagus soup was pretty good too, creamy with good chunks of asparagus- but a little salty.

Oasis: On P st. outside of Dupont Circle: Fantastic egg salad sandwich, really cheap!

I want to try CF Folks, and Kinkead's when I'm feeling spendy. I like all kinds of food, especially seafood, but all ethnicities too. Please let me know your favorite spots that are w/in 20 min walking distance from L and 20th! Dupont Circle area included...

TIA!
