In honor the 4th year of these threads, here's the most ridiculous thing I've eaten in a long time:

FANCY TACO: Iberico de Fermin, uni, white sturgeon caviar (from Island Creek's partnership with Sterling), quail egg...at only $16, this is the definition of a dish that exists solely to be Instagrammed! At Toro (Boston, MA)

(I actually picked apart the different ingredients to enjoy them by themselves. It would be a sin to eat this as intended.)
