Takoyaki are addictive little Japanese balls of fried batter enrobing a piece of octopus. Toothpick food, I can quickly polish off a dozen at a go. It seems most restaurant kitchens buy them frozen. At Totto Ramen, which has ramen we like alot, they refry their takoyaki and serve. I recently found large frozen bags of them at Ebisuya Market in Medford Sq. No need to re-fry. I just heat mine in a 375 degree toaster oven til hot inside. I make a sauce of mostly Tonkatsu sauce (kind of like A-1) with some mayo, and fresh lime juice to cut the sweetness.
