I had lunch at Bosna Express in Ridgewood (right near the Forest Avenue stop on the M train) this weekend. I first heard about it from Sietsma, I think, and have been there once before. It's a tiny place, just big enough to seat six people (one table for four and one for two), so it's usually necessary to take-out. I got a cevapi sandwich, which is a skinless sausage. It was terrific -- on a nice, garlicky bread, with chopped-up cucumbers, tomatoes, and sour cream. Very good combination of flavors, the meatiness of the sausage, the sour cream, and the tartness of the garlic bread. Yum! That and a soda was only four dollars.
