Well, now that Two Boots has opened up in Rockefeller Center I have been forced to eat the stuff since the people I work for order out a few days a week. In the last few weeks I have had this "food product" three times and it just gets worse. The plain pie is barely edible but, except for the gratuitous splash of "hot sauce", it tastes very much like Domino's (they used to be a sponsor on a show and we got free Domino's pizza every Sunday, luckily we lost the show). The junk they call a "Newman" is disgusting - who would eat clumps of ricotta cheese and pepperoni on a pie? Let's not get into the one with onions, peppers and what looked like scrapple. It's awful, all of their pizza is awful, and I'm not the only one where I work that thinks so. I'm glad I didn't have to pay. Also, what's with this stuff on the bottom of the crust that seems to be there to keep the pie from sticking? The last time I saw that was at Boychick's Kosher Pizza on W45 Street in the 1980s. They were no prize either.
And the one in Grand Central is no better. I vote Two Boots into the Hudson.
