Need a book recommendation for a young baker ASAP!

cleobeach | Dec 19, 201408:43 AM     8

There was some confusions about gifts this year and now I am charged with finding a cookbook for a young baker.

She is 11 years old and has taken over the family baking from her proud grandmother. She has a particular interest in cakes and I also suspect she might like to try her hand at basic breads.

I would love recommendations as I hope to place an Amazon order today.

She is an intelligent girl and I am sure is one that follows recipes to the letter. I was hoping to find her something fun but not necessarily too adult.
