Bonita brand organic bananas, 59¢/lb.

Doing a little shopping in Chinatown yesterday, I found some bargains at Little Paradise on the corner of Stockton and Jackson streets. Cherries were 59¢ per pound, mixed red varieties, marked "exceeds standard for doubles", that were good size and delicious.

The other item that was attracting crowds were bananas for 59¢ per pound. Some were fully ripe with brown speckles, but others not so much. I got a bunch that still had green tips. Most of the cases were Bonita organic bananas and there were organic stickers on the bananas too. Conventional bananas were the same price and condition.
