Ok, here's the thing. I have been requested to bring a lamb roast to a "Boxing Day" party on Monday.
Problem 1. the oven will not be available at the home of the dinner party due to other entrees roasting. Problem 2. I live 40 miles away.
How can I safely transport a roast, fresh from the oven, and not lose quality, flavor or have to reheat it so its a lump of coal. How long can I actually hold this roast? (who knows exactly what time they will be serving.) Dinner is at 6 and I am arriving at 4 pm. to assist this first time hostess.
