Dining seaside with the sounds of the waves lapping against the seawall, the stars twinkling overhead are any vacationers dream. Bonaire has a plethora of wonderful dining options but few can surpass the magical setting at Rum Runners. Owned by a charming Dutch couple and managed by a 17 year staff veteran, your dining pleasure is assured from soup to nuts. Rum Runners located at the world famous Habitat Resort has a covered dining area with views of the Caribbean. A special dining section called the Lover’s Corner can be reserved weather permitting. It is arguably one of the most romantic tables on island.

You can start with a Calamari fritti a deep fried calamari served with a spiced Caribbean mojo or Caribbean “pawpaw”, Gazpacho.
It is served with a fruity addition to the old fashioned Spanish chilled tomato soup. Local fresh fish is always on the menu. Choose grilled or sautéed to order with your choice of Saffron Beurre Blanc, grilled pineapple chilli & scallion relish or shrimp & brandy sauce. Finish the dining experience with a home made decadent dessert and an after dinner drink from the lively Deco Bar. Pizza lovers will be thrilled to know Rum Runners has a pizza oven serving traditional and gourmet pies. Price at Rum Runners are comparable to other dining spots in Bonaire.
