I'm a very longtime lurker, and years ago discovered the Anna Nanni bolognese/lasagna recipes through chowhound and it quickly became one of my favorite recipes. I make the lasagna every year for Christmas Eve, but this year I have 2 guests who can't eat pork. Even though I know lots of people love Hazan's bolognese which is only beef, I vastly prefer the addition of pork and pancetta to a bolognese for the additional richness and depth of flavor. Would there be any alternatives to the porks in the original recipe to achieve that, or should I just use all beef this time and move on?
Thanks for any advice!
