Based on a recommendation from an Indonesian friend, I tried the flat noodles with sate sauce at BoKy this evening. I had always thought that BoKy was a Chinese/Vietnamese place, but it turns out that one of the owners is Malaysian, so some of the dishes are slanted that way. And apparently, lots of Indonesians can find dishes here that remind them of homestyle cooking, because this particular Malaysian cuisine is similar to some Javanese cooking.
Anyway, I liked the dish I had. It wasn't earth-shattering, but it was a nice homey dish, a little spicy. It's #46. Ask for soup on the side.
