Boiling ribs before grilling them?

jazo | Aug 10, 201804:02 PM     6

Since I don't have a smoker, Im planing on boiling 10 lbs of ribs in half beer, water and garlic and dried spices the day before I grill. Letting them cool then adding a dry rub and putting in the fridge. The next day placing them on the grill and not adding any sauce till the very end. Does anyone have a better way of making this happen ?
