Boil in Bag Meals - Not Sous Vide

AllieM | Jan 4, 201708:18 AM     18

With having to work two jobs, my daughter doesn't have much time for preparing meals. Since I like to cook all her favorites, I was wondering about making better boil in bag meals (Foodsaver bags) so that when she gets home late at night, she can just boil some water and warm up a complete meal.

While googling and using Pinterest has given me just a very few ideas, I was wondering if anyone had any links to good recipes or ideas here so that I can have a stronger variety. I have done chili, chicken and gravy, taco meat, stew, mashed potatoes and other simple items as that.

Has anyone ever put in rice and noodles with their meals and had them come out good? Is there a different type of rice and noodles that Stouffers and other companies use to maintain more consistency in them than the mushy style that I have gotten when I have tried?

Thanks for any and all experiences you can share with me.
