I’ve been to Bohanan’s twice and consider it among my favorite restaurants. On my first visit I had the opportunity to splurge on the Akaushi filet mignon, very expensive but well worth it. It’s the best steak I’ve ever eaten, anywhere. On another occasion, I had red snapper; it was cooked to perfection. I also had an extremely delicious fig salad, though I think it was a special. For dessert I’ve had both the chocolate brownie as well as the creme brulee, outstanding. The after dinner coffee was excellent. The atmosphere is classic and elegant with white table cloths. The wait staff is efficient, friendly and unpretentious. I’m not a wine connoisseur, but like to have a glass of wine with my meal, and am sometimes intimidated when ordering wine in restaurants. The waiter, while knowledgeable, put me completely at ease and lead me to an excellent selection. Bohanan’s is not inexpensive but worth every cent. I can hardly wait to go back.
