FOUND: Boba place in downtown

superdave | Feb 16, 200501:50 PM

For all you fans of Asian boba drinks, there is a place I've been frequenting lately which is quite good. 400 E. Randolph called 'Cafe Boba'. The mango and pineapple are great, strawberry is good but won't be using fresh fruit until it is more in season. Also serve bento boxes and some regular cafe fare (like coffee and cookies).

For the neophytes out there, boba drinks are basically fresh fruit smoothies with boba (small cooked tapioca balls that are quite chewy) and there are only a few places in the city of Chicago to get it... TeaLeaf Cafe in Chinatown, Joy Yee's Noodle, etc.
