i seem to remember a thread where someone was looking for bo sam, which is korean bbq, but instead of using lettuce to wrap, one uses a thin rice cake. i searched the board and couldn't find the thread.
in any case, my friends have been enamored with kkang tong dwae ji (sorry, i don't know the english name, literal translation is "canned pork," pretty weird). also, i don't have the exact address, but i do know it is a half block south of macarthur on telegraph in oakland.
apologies for the inexact information, but i received it in an after-bbq haze. plus i figured that some oakland chowhound may have already posted the information or will be intrepid in testing out the restaurant (although i will be going there this weekend, huzzah!).
