Bluestar RCS vs. Samsung Chef Series

kopidrinker | Jun 16, 201701:41 PM

So I need a new gas stove to replace the ancient stove in my new house. Looking at either the Bluestar RCS w/ 15K open burners at $3500 (no tax or shipping!), or Samsung's Dual oven Chef series with 22K sealed burner. It's about $2600 with Costco, but got to pay tax.
I basically need a strong burner for wokking, or firing up paella and large roasting pans. Also like the infrared broiler in the BS RCS, while the Samsung's broiler maxes out at supposedly 480F. That is so low it almost can't be right.
Can anybody help me out and chime in with your experiences with any one of these ranges?
Also interested in service quality in the SF Bay Area.
Thanks.
