Blueberry show-stopper

Dave MP | Jun 28, 201805:35 PM     19

I bought a bunch of really nice fresh blueberries today. I am tempted to eat all of them by the handful, but I am trying to save around 4-5 cups to make a blueberry dessert tomorrow. I'll be bringing the dessert to a friend's house, and I'd like it to be as delicious as possible. I thought about making my mom's blueberry pie recipe, which I definitely like, but I'm wondering about other ideas. I'd love to be able to make something that involves both cooked and raw blueberries, if such a dessert exists.

I found this recipe that looks promising but wondering if anyone has other ideas. I currently do not own a pan with a removable bottom, but could potentially purchase one tomorrow before baking. Hoping for tried-and-true recipes!

I'm also open to cakes and other types of desserts, but definitely want to showcase the berries.

thanks in advance
Dave MP
