OK, so this isn't the most high-brow scone...but my roommate and I used to love them so! The coffeehouse in our neighborhood used to stock them and they were low-fat, on the slightly dry side--don't ask why we liked them! But there was something almost shortbread cookie-like about the crumbly flakiness and we loved them. We've seen them at New World Coffee, but found that the staff refrigerated them (oh the sin, to do that to a bread-product). Long story short, does anyone know who the supplier might be?
