We went to Blue Moon on New Years after viewing a nice princess movie with the kids at the Bronxville theater. We have been there about 3-4 times in the past 6 years, knowing not to expect much, but being in a very kid-friendly restaurant...
Well, it did not meet my already VERY low expectations. The place was filthy (not that many patrons around, but the bathroom still dirty, and the rug in dyre need of a vacuuming). My $10 margarita was tepid, and tasted like a bad mix, and worst of all, the food... everything tasted like a chicken nuggets wrapped in a fried tortilla.
Not only the food was horrendous, but it was also expensive. $10 margarita, $8 side of guacamole the size of a pea. Our meal basically consisted of $40 worth of chips and salsa.
My resolution for 2008 is to never set a foot in there again, even out of desperation.
