What a delightfully wacky place! Whimsical colors and drawings adorn the walls, old sails are strung up for shade, there is a rope to swing on, mulch on the ground and roosters and cats walking among the tables. Oh, and great food!

The excellent lunch special was a Florida lobster sauteed with butter and sharp Vermont cheddar on a wheat bun. Nice side of cole slaw. Also terrific was the hot tortilla covered with brown rice, black beans, cheese, topped with lettuce, avocado and salsa, with jerked chicken. $23 plus tip.

Blue Heaven features service that defines the term laid back. If you arrive before 12 on a weekday wanting lunch, you wait until the last breakfast ticket is filled and for the kitchen to switch over from breakfast to lunch before being seated. Breakfasts looked good.
