I guess like many celebrity oriented restaurants, when the celebrity is busy celebritying, the boil goes off the place. There were 6 of us. There was sufficient wine. The food portions were so small that after having had an entree, one of the group (and not even me) had to order another entree. We ordered several appetizers too - there simply wasn't enough to eat.
I had a poorly done duck - there simply wasn't any flavor (or perhaps it was too subtle for my Texas palate).
All in all a culinary disappointment.
And then there was the service. Nothing arrived properly on schedule. There seemed to be atotal lack of expediting from the kitchen.
It is sad to have the iconic bubbles burst. I would rather go to my $6.95 greasy spoon Chinese restaurant - at least I know I will be fed.
