Blue Coral Caribbean in Burlington NJ

We stopped at Blue Coral bluecoralcafe.com in the KMart shopping center in on Rte 541 north of I-295 Burlington. I'm no expert on Jamaican food but we enjoyed ourselves and will return. The service at this BYOB was very good. The restaurant has a take-out station in front and about 15 to 20 tables in back. There was a fairly loud Bob Marley act on a TV in the dining room. I'm not keen on having a TV on while I eat but I tolerated it. The waitress said they usually have live music on Saturday nights. We tried the jerk chicken, ordered spicy and the Saturday special ribs. The ribs were OK but not as falling off the bone as I make myself. We really enjoyed the jerk chicken and the sides were good: delicious collard greens and a slightly spicy fried rice and peas, fried pantains and yams. Look forward to trying the Escoveitched Red Snapper (fried and then steamed) next time.
