I just thought this was a head-scratcher...unless it's not.
First visit to Bludso's. After reading about it so much, expected a big crowd, long wait, etc, but figured we'd brave it for the experience. As recommended, phoned in our orders ahead of time.
Arrived at what I thought would be prime lunch time - about 1pm on a Saturday, to find...nobody there. Well, maybe one somebody. But seriously, the place was empty. No line. Our pick of the three picnic tables. Cool!
I'm just curious if this was some strange luck or if the drumbeat about the legendary waits is overblown?
Food was enjoyable, prices reasonable for the portions. Have been spoiled by cue in its native regions of the country. Not disappointed but realistic about expectations at Bludso's.
