Blu Lobster Bistro - review

Finally made it to this restaurant last week with a group and as usual for me tasted from everyone's plate. Raw oysters for one starter - some of the freshest I have ever had. I could have eaten 2 dozen. They were I think $12.00 for a half dozen but they gave us 8 instead of 6. Two others had clam chowder and lobster bisque, very fresh, tasty and unique flavors. Ceasar salad excellent. Mussels as an appetizer, large portion and tasty but swimming in the garlic/white wine sauce. I would have preferred less sauce as it felt almost like mussel soup. When I go back I will request less sauce and less garlic (although I love garlic). Seafood pasta excellent with shrimp, mussels and clams. I would have used linguini instead of fettuccine but oh well. Lobster was tasty but as I often cook lobster at home it is not something I would normally order in a restaurant. For me, this is the perfect place to go for a large selection of appetizers to share with a group. No one ordered from the selection of fish but from viewing other tables I can say it looked great. Garlic bread served throughout. Prices reasonable and they do take- out apparently.
Will be going back...
