BLT: good and bad

I recommended the BLT at Hotel Utah recently and it got me craving another one. Went today at lunch. It coulda been 2 different resto's. Today the barely toasted bread seemed stale and the bacon was lots of small hard crunchy pieces smashed in the middle of the bread. Like the just gathered up all the old leftover bits and pieces just for me. One side of the sandwich only had a couple bites that even had bacon in it. Oh and there was regular mayo instead of the chipotle mayo. I let the bartender know, and after hesitating, just returned it to the kitchen. I didn't take a replacement--it was just so blah, and I was a little afraid of kitchen payback. Mostly I just wanted them to know there was a huge drop in quality of that sandwich, but I don't think much info was transferred to the kitchen. Disappointing and I still have not had lunch. I'm going to pop over to check out the Thurs farmers market at the Ferry but I'm starving.
