Bloom's Day

Devout Sal | Jun 9, 2006 04:11 PM

We're a week out from the 102nd anniv. of the day Leopold Bloom walked around Dublin in James Joyce's imagination and had a glass of Burgundy and a Gorgonzola sandwich for lunch. Anyone know of a local that might serve up the same on the day? Thanks in advance (and thanks also for leaving any snide remarks about impenetrable books and their pseudo-intellectual readership in your own imagination ¬ó the book was gift from my Dad on my wedding day and it wouldn't be Chowish besides).

"God made food, the devil the cooks."
¬óLeopold Bloom
