Blondie's in Arrowbear/Running Springs

My husband and I spent a few days in Running Springs with my family and had dinner at Blondie's on Monday night. They, newly, have liquor license in addition to a beer/ wine license so we started with cocktails which was a nice treat. My husband and I shared a Greek salad and a large cut Ribeye. Both were great. The salad had lots of olives and feta in addition to red onions and tomato and fresh greens. It was perfectly(not over) dressed. The steak came just a tad over medium-rare, but still delicious and beefy tasting. We got it with the standard baked potato and green beans. The beans had been cooked with bacon which is never a bad thing. My mom's husband got some kind of crazy burger that had two grilled cheese sandwiches as a bun. He seemed happy, if close to a heart attack. He said he usually gets their Cubano. It looked awesome at the table next-door. My mom got a blackened chicken salad which she seemed happy with. Apparently, she get that pretty much every time. Service was great, even though they were really busy for "Locals get 30% off night" Great place if you are in town or just passing through.
