Has anyone tried this new restaurant? It's in Rice Village on Morningside, near University. Near the Eddie Bauer store.
Open morning through late night. Nice decor, with oak (walnut?) wood floors, plants, good for sitting and visiting.
Desserts and gelato look very good.
Mixed results on other items. First of all, the place is disorienting when you first walk in. They need someone to explain how it works. Some other people I brought a second time said the same thing. I guess it has to do with being over 50. The prices on the menu are written out to several decimal points. No idea why the menu creator thought this would be amusing. The menu is posted on a kiosk and is long, but too busy and hard to read.
I'm wondering if the place is owned by bw3 or benjy's.
I'm bothering to write about this because I think the place has potential as an all day, early and late bistro. Potential to join the ranks of Goode Co restaurants, Star Pizza, Buffalo Grille in terms of enjoyable experience. Will see.
