I went for dinner early tonight and tried the fried clams - they were delicious! They were small-bellied, but that's OK since it's winter and that is normal. The coating was excellently crunchy and was seasoned perfectly. The fries were tasty too. I also enjoyed the fish spread that they presented with crisp toasts beforehand (I can't remember what they said - maybe haddock, but it reminded me of the whitefish salad that I love to put on my bagels.)
The staff was very nice and accomadating (I sat at the bar.) They should probably not talk within earshot of their customers about whether or not they like eating seafood (one girl said it disgusted her - well honey, why are you working at a seafood joint?) The owner was extremely pleasant when I grilled him about where the clams were coming from and how fresh they were.
The place was empty at 6pm. I hope business picks up for them as the clams were great, and I can't wait to go back and try other things on the menu.
