This is a good place for American diner chow. The atmosphere is funky 60s diner crossed with Northwest log cabins. I especially like the Friday night all-you-can-eat fish fry, which takes me back to my Midwestern roots. It's $11.95, and includes fries, hush puppies, and cole slaw. The fish is pollock in a cornmeal-based breading.
Breakfasts are good too--standard omelet fare, but well-prepared, generous, and reasonably priced. If you're carb loading try their biscuits and gravy. They do a decent chicken-fried steak, as well. Service can be spotty, but the occasional slow server responds to a little prodding.
Not gourmet fare, but unpretentious and tasty if you're getting peckish in the suburbs.
