Bitter, new Heather joint in the DTES

peter.v | Jan 20, 201107:36 PM     1

Scout reports today of a new restaurant in the Heather/Hawthorn group (Salt, Judas Goat). It's across the street from Pigeon Park and will apparently be like Salt but with a beer focus instead of wine. Scotch eggs and smoked whole ham hocks anyone?

Not sure of the location, especially when it's mentioned that there will be a patio in Centre A's parking lot. I hope the smell of urine isn't too pervasive. And this is from a former resident of a loft building on Cordova and Carrall. But isn't this what was said about the insanity of opening up a place on Blood Alley?

Looking forward to seeing the beer selection.
