Bistrot Du Coin

Erik | Mar 6, 2006 11:06 AM

My wife and I had an odd experience at Bistrot Du Coin.
We walked in after 8:00 pm on a weeknight and saw many tables empty and a couple of dozen seats unfilled. We said we were two for dinner - and were told that the wait would be long (or there was one table in the back/smoking section). When we asked why we couldn't sit at one of the many empty tables- we ere informed that those were tables of four. They will not seat couples at any time at such tables. They confirmed that they would rather loose our business (forever) than seat us. Strange.
