My husband & I were thinking of going here Christmas Eve with our best friend who is the chef where I work as we are all tired, are cooking Christmas daya nd want to be waited on.
After 5 conversations on the tele with an extremely rude Frnch woman, I am wondering what kind of service we will get. Since we live down the block we wanted to support them.

I called to inquire about the Christmas Eve menu. I called at 10:30 a.m. on Wed. the woman told me to call back in 1/2 hour which I did. She left me on hold for 4 minutes, came back to the phone and read the menu after droppping the phone twice. She then said would you like tocome New Year's Eve? I said noChristmas eve and she replied "oh" .I said what is the Christmas eve menu? She told me she didn't know. I said" would you put me on hold and fin out please?"She left me on hold for another 5minutes and then said call back and hung up.

I called back the next day at 11:00 and they told me to call at 4:00 I did and they said they do not know and call back tomorrow morning. I did this today, friday and the woman said she as know idea and asked if I was the woman who calls every day. isaid, I am in fact,a nd are you the same person every day who isn't able to service a potential customer? I said if you do not know the menu and there is no manager or owner (Dominic) there when I call can you ask the chef. She said " I am busy preparing for the lunch crowd"" I again asked her to ask the chef what the menu is and she said "he isn't here" I relied " how could he not be there if you have a lunch crowd? And her response ws" Hello? maybe he is shopping for Christmass how do I know?

WHAT? I am sorry for the rant but isn't this crazy????
