Had dinner at the bar at Z Bistro. A disappointment. The bartender recommend the Asian Chicken Nachos. A few stingy cubes of chicken, very little of the peanut or wasabe sauces. Overall not much flavor. Later I learned the bartender had never tasted them before. To their credit the manager did offer to take the appetizer off the check. Baby Iceberg salad, ho hum interpertation with grape tomato's. Seared Sea Scallops swimming in a pool of a coconut milk based sauce. So much sauce pretty much defeated the whole idea of serving the scallops in a basket of "crispy" fried noodles. Five dollars for a cup of french press coffee is a bit dear.
Overall, just too precious.
