I am blessed to live only a five minute walking distance away from a wonderful little restaurant where the bar manager is always coming up with new and innovative cocktails I have never heard of.
Tonight she fixed me one that she calls the Biscotti Manhattan. To the best of my memory, she described this drink as consisting of the following:
Makers Mark 46 (The bartender told me that the "46" brand was very important).
An Orange Twist (This bartender always prefers an orange twist to a cherry when she fixes any kind of a Manhattan.
I am uncertain of the exact proportions she mentioned. I think she may have cited 3 parts of the Makers Mark 46, 1 part of the Grand Marnier, and 1 part of the Amaretto.
In any event..........I loved it.
Based upon the description I have provided above to the best of my memory.........
What do you think? Is this something you might want to try? Would you try to tweak it somehow?
I'm definitely getting this again.
