Help with birthday menu?

makeupyourworld | Mar 19, 201909:54 PM     15

Hello! So this weekend is my mom's birthday and I wanted to make her a nice steak dinner. How does this menu sound? Do you all have any nice recipes to go along with it all? Thanks so much.

Starters - Freshly Baked White Boule Bread with Butter

Cheese and Charcuterie Plate featuring Créme Brie, Garlic and Herb Swiss, Smokey Blue, and Blueberry Vanilla Goats Cheese

Salad - Cobb Salad with White Balsamic Vinaigrette

Entreé + Sides - Reverse Seared Filet Mignon with Red Wine and Shallot Reduction

Creamy Mashed Russets with Garlic and Chives

Blanched Asparagus with Melted Butter and Sliced Garlic

Dessert - Vanilla Birthday Cake with Ricotta Filling and Buttercream Icing (Storebought)

Ice Cream with Homemade Hot Fudge

Any other suggestions? I want to make her birthday a special one.
