Birthday/Holiday Dinner Dilemma: Broward or Palm Beach

Zook | Dec 8, 2004 07:18 PM

Here's the dilemma du jour. I'm looking for two different restaurant rex, one for a girl's night out for 50th bday, and the other for Hubby's bday. For these two occasions, Dade is out of the question; but anywhere in Broward or Palm Beach County (up to the town of Palm Beach but not further north) would work. Been there, done that at most of the usual recommended haunts, such as Four Seasons, La Vielle Maison, Cafe Maxx, Marks, Sunfish Grill, Johnny V's, the Ritz, virtually all the restaurants on Atlantic Ave. in Delray, etc. Adding to the problem is this...the girl's night dinner is on a Monday and many restaurants are closed then even in season, and the husband's bday dinner is on a Sunday and his choice, Sunfish is closed on Sundays. Haven't been but will be trying Cafe Boulard with another group of friends soon, so don't want to go there for these two occasions either. Most important is great food and service. Price not an issue. Any ideas greatly appreciated.
