Last night, my husband and I feasted on the tasting menu at Marigold's. Jonathon prepared his and her selections so we could taste multiple items. The dinner was magnificent and included scallops, seared foie gas, gnocchi, striped bass and seared scallops, and braised lamb shank and braised short ribs. For dessest we had a cheese platter, warm chocolate cake with sesame ice cream, and pistachio cake. Each dish was more delicious than the previous one. The presentation was exquisite and the sauces were fabulous. The tables are quite far apart, especially since they have opened the room upstairs, and the noise level was minimal. All in all, it was a memorable meal.
