Birthday dinner for 20-somethings

Hi group,

I am planning a birthday dinner for a group of 20-somethings this weekend - probably around 10 to 12 people. We are trying to keep the price reasonable, and we want to go out in Logan Circle afterwards, so at least staying in the district is a must. Some initial ideas we came up with were Mama Ayesha's or Lebanese Taverna or maybe Zaytinya all the way in Chinatown? Tabaq looked a little pricey for us. Does anyone else have any good ideas? Somewhere where people can fill up and drink not-too-expensive wine but have a good time is what we're looking for. I've done family-style Italian like that in the past, but I'm not sure anywhere in DC fits the bill...

thanks for any guidance you can provide!
