I am looking for a recommendation for someplace special but not stuffy for my husband's 60th birthday. We are a party of 5 adults. My husband loves good Italian (some of his past favorites are Lupa, I sodi and Piccolo Cucina). I would like someplace a bit more special where we can talk, but he is not a fan of stuffy, i.e., I think Del Posto would be a bit too formal for him. Babbo is a possibility, but they will not take reservations for that size group after 6:30 or before 9:00. Any recommendations? Anywhere in Manhattan is good and would like to keep it to about $150pp. Thanks!
