Billy's Beer J'int in Austin

What a neat guy Billy is!

Friendly (actually the whole staff was really wonderful - from the guy at the counter to the cook who came out and asked us how everything was and asked for suggestions on what we'd like to see) staff, a bit lacking on ambiance, but that'll come with age.

Billy worked like gangbusters to get the patio built this weekend and that's going to be a welcome addition (even if the view is the parking lot and Burnet/Hancock).

I had the jr. burger and was shocked when it came out. That is NOT a junior burger, but it was very homemade, nice/juicy/flavorful pattie, yummy buttered/toasted buns and the cheese melted just so.

They even substituted fried mushrooms for the fries for me!

What a nice place. I really hope he makes it (heck, with us "Po-folk" at the school for the blind across the street he's even made the prices something we can manage)
