went to the sit down restaurant downstairs. had 6 main couses and all were superb. didnt take notes but the jumbo shrimp with walnuts was super memorable. this is gourmet Cantonese on a level with Hong Kong. maybe there are just one or two uptown/upscale manhattan places that can match or better it. those 6 main courses fed 5 very well with a tab of $135 (no drinks). located on main street, a 10 minute walk from the #7 train station (last stop on the line). walk toward the public library and beyond. i understand there is an upscale $23 a head buffet upstairs but comparing it to the downstairs rest. is apples and oranges. our food was rushed very fresh and hot from the kitchen to our table (essential that cantonese food not be allowed to sit). My wife is from Hong Kong and she was impressed.
