Where to go for a big salad entree in San Francisco?

jen maiser | Apr 17, 200312:11 PM     23

I have been eating crazy, fat filled, yummy meals lately. Between being in Italy and going to the Long Beach Grand Prix this past weekend (read: grease heaven), J and I have had our fill of fried foods and cured meats (at least for about a week (g)).

So driving home last night, he called to say that he wanted a "big salad" for dinner (does anyone remember the Seinfeld about the big salad?) ... and I agreed. It was one of those nights when a salad with great greens and chock full of goodies would have hit the spot. I came up empty on ideas. Where should we have gone?

Super bonus points -- Later, he said that his idea of a perfect salad is great greens, tomato, and tuna. I guess like a great salade nicoise. Where can we find that???

Thanks --
