Finally made it to Big Ragu, Thursday evening.
I mention the day, because Thursday is Gnocci night.
The Gnocci Gorgonzola, was possibly the best I have ever eaten.
The sauce was not runny, perfectly coated, and shaved gorgonzola was the topping.
The potato gnocci, homemade was light yet had body.
It was exquisite!
The staff make you feel like a member of the family.
Downside The mains change daily, and there is no menu for them. Prices not listed.
The whole seared fish was $25.00 large fish(good value)
The small simmered lamb shank $24.00 not worth it.
The mains were ordiinary in flavour, but not bad.
The salad, way too much vinegar.
Having said this, I have fallen in love with their Gnocci, and will return often, on Thursdays.
Just another mention.
We took some out-of-towners (one vegetarian) to 668 on Wednesday.
The food, is always good, in fact along with Lotus Pond, they are my favourite Vegetarian, but it was empty, as was the Big Ragu, what is going on?
