Last night a friend and I ate at here and so I thought I'd give a short review:

I ordered the blackened catfish which comes w/2 sides--I chose the mac 'n cheese and hush puppies; my friend ordered the jambalaya which also came w/2 sides (she opted for spicy cabbage and collard greens). You also get 3 mini corn muffins per person as a starter included in your dinner which was a nice touch. My fish was good but I thought a little on the oilier side and not blackened enough (though I'm not an expert on Southern cooking); i really enjoyed trying my friend's jambalaya though--just spicy enough w/out it being overwhelming with lots of sausage and seafood mixed in. The sides were good, especially the hush puppies--very crispy on the outside and soft cornmeal on the inside. I was a little disappointed though w/the macaroni and cheese--a little overcooked and "mushy".
We realized afterwards that one of us should've ordered the ribs! oh well, I'll have to order that next time.
The room is a pretty big and comfortable space and the wait staff are very friendly. Definitely a place worth going to again and an alternative to Pasadena's crowded Old Town neighborhood.
