Big Lou's Ribs, Revere (great pizza!)

Unfortunately I have to report that the ribs at Big Lou's are nothing to name a restaurant after. We tried the selection of 3 ribs, St. Louis style, County Ribs (more of a porkchop) and baby back. The Country Rib was a bit dried out, but flavor wasn't too bad. The baby backs and St. Louis style were very similar, with no smoke taste, a bland sauce and yes, they were falling off the bone, but it's because they had obviously been steamed, not cooked low and slow. I swear I've driven past this place in the past and seen smoke soming out of it, but there was no smoke visible or smellable, which should have tipped us off. They were an unappetizing grey color and pretty fatty as well. I'd recommend taking a pass on these.

But there is good news to report. Chicken breast was reported to be moist and delicious, and the pizza was pretty special, worth the trip in itself. The crust was New York style- thin, with a great crisp/chewy balance. The sauce had a good flavor as well. It's not as good as Haymarket or Regina's, but a very close second (well, third, because I put Santarpio's at the top of the pile.) The menu said something like "Come on, we're in Revere, of course the pizza's gonna be good!" Is Revere a hotbed for this type of pizza?! Now that I know, I'm going to have to spend a lot more time exploring the pizza joints of Revere! Any suggestions?
