Biddie McGraw fish & chips

PDXNaomi | Feb 18, 200501:08 PM

Well, this was our destination in the first place, to hear Laurel Lee & the Escapees. We got a late start & figured oh, what the heck, pub grub. The fish -- a HUGE portion -- was fantastic, a light beer batter, perfectly cooked. The chips were substantial, but I prefer the thin/crisp variety. Hubby had shepherd's pie, which he liked a lot. I can take or leave the dish; the bite I took was fine.
Came home reeking of smoke, well fed and having enjoyed the band. Not bad for a school night, as they say.
