Bhoja: Yum!

sprout | May 31, 2006 06:01 PM

I just had lunch with a friend at Bhoja in Davis Sq. It's located right next door to Martsa (I think they're owned by the same people?). We each had a chicken knish-type thing that I forget the name of. I had a lime juice and she had a mango yogurt smoothie. Everything was completely delicious. The chicken thing came with either a mint chutney or an oniony hot sauce, both very good.

They had quite a few of these knish-type things with potatoes, spinach, etc. I will definitely be back to try some others. Their brioche buns looks good and the sandwiches listed on the board sounded very tasty. The pastries looked a bit hit-or-miss, but I haven't tried any of those yet.

Anyway, I'm excited to have found such a tasty and cheap place to eat in Davis. I was just thinking the other day that it was a shame there was nowhere to grab a very quick, very tasty, and very cheap bite to eat in that area.

Please go try it out. I don't want this place to close! :)
